A countryside delight with mixed materials

A stunning countryside project, completed in Fossil Mint natural stone and Dordogne porcelain tiles

Stoneworld provided Fossil Mint tumbled paving stone for this beautiful countryside project, to create a sense of timeless elegance and sophistication.

We created intricately designed patio areas to fit with the shape of the garden, which meant producing bespoke curved edges for the patios, giving them unique character.

The vast patio areas are light and open, and create vibrant contrasts between the grass areas.

The interior of the property was created using Dordogne porcelain tiles, in the shade Caramel. This beautifully coloured porcelain gave a fresh, upbeat feel to the kitchen and other interior areas, and matched perfectly with the coloured kitchen units and island.

We also produced bespoke cut porcelain tiles for the hearth to sit on, which blend extremely well with the rest of the porcelain flooring.

To do this, we templated the area to ensure that accurate measurements were taken, and then the flooring was cut exactly to size, to match the tiles already in place.

To create consistency, we ensured that there was a smooth transition between the interior and the exterior of the property, using stone and porcelain of a similar tone.

This project demonstrates how natural stone and porcelain can be used together really effectively, to create fresh and timeless interiors and exteriors.
